JOB DESCRIPTION:

You will provide technical support in conducting product research, preparing design and technical drawings for our storefront facade construction projects in the Luxury Retail construction sector. You will be an integral part of the pre-construction team and an important conduit between design concept and the completed construction.

Essential Responsibilities: 

• Development of shop drawings, fabrication drawings, and design-build Storefront drawings for high-profile Luxury Retail storefront construction projects.

• Analyze building codes, site requirements and other technical documents and reports.
• Prepare sketches, CAD drawings and material specifications.
• Coordinate with Project Management and Site Installation teams throughout each project.
• Facilitate design process and coordinate design with Management team.

Job Requirements:

• Degree/Diploma in Building Design, Architectural Drafting or related programs highly preferred.

• Minimum of 3-5 years of relevant work experience.
• Demonstrable working experience in AutoCAD. Experience with SketchUp is a plus.
• Interest in and dedication to design issues and quality management.
• Able to effectively communicate both verbally and in writing.
• Strong problem identification and problem resolution skills.
• Excellent time management skills; ability to manage multiple projects at any time.
• Ability to work independently within an integrated, team environment.
